We Repair So You Don’t Have To Replace

Before you spend a fortune replacing an entire floor, call us. We specialize in repairing carpet: re-stretching to eliminate bubbles and ripples, patching to remove stains and pet damage, seam repair, and full professional cleaning.

Our repair technicians are the same installers who put carpet in for 25 years. They know how carpet moves, where it pulls, and how to blend patches so the repair becomes invisible. Most repairs are done the same day, in one visit.

Case Study: Hallway Pattern — Binding Repair on an Installed Carpet

A damaged binding edge on a patterned hallway runner that was already installed. Re-binding an installed carpet is one of the hardest repairs in our trade — most shops won’t touch it.

Finished — seamless rebind. ProGlide at work.

The ProGlide Seam Iron — Why Our Seams Disappear

A regular seam iron costs around $50. A ProGlide costs about $600. The seam tape we use with it is expensive too. Most shops don’t carry this gear because most shops don’t take the hard repairs.

We do. And when you look at these photos, you can see why the tool pays for itself. The pattern lines up across the seam, the binding edge is continuous, the carpet pile flows from one side to the other. That’s the right equipment and 25 years of crew experience.

Case Study: Pet Damage Patch — Six-Step Sequence

Typically caused by cats. Fibers shredded to the backing. No amount of cleaning or raking brings it back — but a clean patch will.

2. Cut Out — damage removed; donor piece ready.

3. Seam Tape — heat-activated tape laid underneath.

4. Patch Fitted — donor piece dropped in, pile aligned.

5. Stand Back — where was the damage again?

6. Close-Up — seam is there. Good luck finding it.

We never guarantee a fully invisible seam — lighting, pile direction, and age of the carpet all affect the result. But this is what we aim for, and more times than not, this is what we deliver.

The Right Tools Matter

Good carpet repair is 90% technique, 10% equipment — but the 10% is non-negotiable. A few of the tools on every one of our jobs.

Why Re-Stretch?

Carpet naturally loosens over time from humidity, traffic, and age. When carpet forms bubbles, waves, or ripples, the backing has separated from the tack strip. Ripples are not just ugly — they also accelerate wear. The high points get walked on, compressed, and worn out twice as fast as flat carpet.

Re-stretching pulls the carpet tight to the walls, re-engages the tack strip, and trims the excess. Most rooms take 30–60 minutes. We warranty all re-stretches for one year.
